Storage Unit Cleanouts in Snellville
Paying every month for a unit full of things you no longer need? We empty it for you, load and haul everything, sweep the floor and send photos of the cleared unit. You can close out the lease without spending a weekend in a hot hallway.
When it makes sense to let us clear the unit
Most storage units start as a short-term fix during a move, a downsizing or a family estate. A few years later the rent has added up and nobody remembers what is behind the front row of boxes. A storage unit cleanout ends that monthly bill. We take out everything you no longer want and leave the unit empty and swept.
You do not have to sort it all beforehand. Tell us what you want kept and we set those items aside, or bring them to your home if they fit in the truck with the load. Everything else is loaded, hauled and dropped at the right place: donation for usable furniture and household goods, recycling for metal and cardboard, and the landfill only for what is left.
Because many people hand us a key or gate code and never come to the facility, we photograph the unit before we start, while we work and when it is empty. You see exactly what was there and what we did with it.
What a storage unit cleanout includes
Loading every item
Our crew does all the lifting, from loose boxes to sofas, mattresses, dressers and old exercise equipment. You do not need to rent a truck or recruit friends.
Sorting with your keep list
Give us a list or a quick description of what you want saved. We pull those items aside and check with you by phone if we find something you might have missed, like a box of papers or family keepsakes.
Donation and recycling first
Usable furniture and household goods go to donation where they are accepted. Scrap metal, appliances and cardboard go to recycling, so less ends up in the landfill.
Sweep-out of the empty unit
After the last load we sweep the floor and pick up stray screws, packing peanuts and broken cardboard. Many facilities expect a broom-clean unit before you move out.
Photos at each step
You get pictures of the unit as we found it, the work in progress and the empty, swept floor. That record is handy if the facility asks about the condition of the unit when you close the lease.

Signs it is time to clear out your storage unit
- The rent keeps going up
- Storage rates tend to rise after the first few months. If the contents would cost less to replace than another year of rent, the unit is costing you money.
- You have not opened it in a year
- If you cannot name what is inside, you probably will not miss most of it. A cleanout lets you keep the few things that matter and let go of the rest.
- Musty smells or water stains
- Non-climate-controlled units get hot and humid through the Georgia summer. Cardboard sags, upholstered furniture picks up mildew, and those items are usually headed for disposal anyway.
- You are settling an estate or moving away
- When a parent's unit needs to be emptied or you are leaving the area, there is often a lease end date to meet. We can work toward that date so you avoid another month of rent.
How the cleanout day goes
- 1
A quick call to size the job
Tell us the unit size, roughly how full it is and anything heavy like a piano or a safe. We give you a free quote by phone, or set up a free on-site estimate at the unit if you would rather we see it first.
- 2
Access arranged ahead of time
We confirm the facility's access hours and how we get in. Some facilities need you to add us as an authorized visitor or share the gate code, and you can meet us there or stay home.
- 3
A first look, then loading
We record the unit as found, set aside your keep items and load the rest onto our truck. If something looks valuable or personal, we call you before it goes.
- 4
Sweep-out and hauling
Once the unit is empty we sweep it out and take final photos. Then we take the load to donation, recycling and disposal, and you are ready to return the lock and close the lease.
What sets the price of a storage unit cleanout
We price by how much space your items take on our truck and what kind of items they are, not by the hour. You hear the price upfront, with no hidden fees, and nothing changes unless you add items or tell us to leave some behind.
- Unit size and how full it is
- A packed 10x20 holds far more than a half-full 5x10. Volume is the biggest piece of the price.
- Heavy or special items
- Appliances, pianos, safes, mattresses and tires can carry their own handling or disposal costs. Mention them on the call so the quote is accurate.
- Unit location at the facility
- A drive-up unit is quicker to empty than a third-floor interior unit at the end of a long hallway with one elevator.
- Sorting you want done
- If you need us to go through boxes and set aside specific items, that takes more time than a straight clear-out. A clear keep list helps keep the job simple.
Storage unit cleanout questions
- Do I need to be at the storage facility while you work?
- No. Many customers arrange access with the facility, share the gate code and lock key, and stay home. We send photos of the unit before, during and after, and call you if anything needs a decision.
- Can you bring some items back to my home?
- Yes, if the keep items fit in the truck with the load and your home is in our service area. Let us know when you call so we plan for the stop. Larger keep loads may need a separate trip.
- What happens to the things I do not want?
- Usable furniture and household goods go to donation when they are accepted, and metal, appliances and cardboard go to recycling. Only what cannot be reused or recycled goes to the landfill.
- Will the unit be clean enough to move out?
- We leave it empty and broom-swept, which is what most facilities ask for. The final pictures show the condition of the floor and walls when we left, in case the facility has questions later.
- Do you also clear out garages or basements?
- Yes. If the storage unit is part of a bigger downsizing, we also handle garage cleanouts and basement cleanouts, and we can plan them for the same week.

Stop paying rent on things you do not need
Tell us the unit size and what is inside, and we will give you a clear price. We handle the lifting, the hauling and the sweep-out, so all that is left is returning the lock.
