Basement Cleanouts in Snellville
Your basement has years of boxes, old furniture and things nobody wants to carry up the stairs. We do the lifting, sort what can be donated or recycled, and send you photos as the space clears so you can see what was found and what left.
When a basement cleanout makes sense
A basement fills up slowly. A couch goes down when the living room gets new furniture, holiday bins pile up, and the old treadmill never comes back up. One day you need the room for a guest space, a sale or a repair, and the job looks too big for a weekend.
That is the right time to call us. We handle the whole space, not just a few items. We carry everything out through the stairs or the walkout door, load it on our truck and leave the floor ready for whatever comes next.
Basements around here tend to hold moisture through humid Georgia summers, so cardboard sags and fabric picks up mildew. We take that damaged stuff too, and we set aside anything you might want a second look at before it goes.
What our basement cleanouts include
- All the carrying and loading
- Our crew moves every item up the stairs or out the walkout door. You do not need to stage anything in the driveway first.
- Sorting for donation and recycling
- Usable furniture, tools and household goods go to donation where possible. Metal, cardboard and electronics are separated for recycling instead of all going to the landfill.
- Photos at each step
- We document the space before we start, anything unusual we find along the way, and the empty room when we finish. If you are not home, you still see exactly what happened in your basement.
- Heavy and awkward items
- Old pool tables, sleeper sofas, exercise machines and dead chest freezers are routine for us. For a single fridge or washer, our appliance removal service may be the simpler fit.
- A swept floor when we leave
- Once the last load is out, we sweep the cleared area. You get back a space you can use, measure or show to a contractor.
Signs it is time to clear the basement
It smells musty when you open the door
A musty odor usually means damp boxes, rugs or upholstered furniture are holding moisture. Getting them out is the first step toward a drier space.
You are getting ready to sell or move
Buyers want to see the foundation walls and the floor. A cleared basement also makes inspections go faster.
A plumber or waterproofing crew is coming
Contractors need clear access to walls, pipes and the water heater. We can empty the area ahead of their visit.
There are paths instead of rooms
If you walk sideways between stacks to reach the furnace or breaker panel, the clutter has become a safety issue as well as a storage one.
You are settling a family member's home
Estate basements often hold decades of belongings. We go at your pace and set aside anything you ask us to keep.
What affects the price of a basement cleanout
Most of the price comes from how much we haul away and how hard it is to get it out. We give upfront pricing with no hidden fees, so you know the number before we start carrying anything. Here is what moves it.
Volume of items
The amount of truck space your belongings fill is the biggest factor. A few pieces of furniture cost less than a full basement packed wall to wall.
Access and stairs
A walkout basement with a ground-level door is quicker than a narrow interior staircase with a tight turn. Longer carries take more crew time.
Heavy or specialty items
Pianos, safes, slate pool tables and appliances with refrigerant take extra hands or extra disposal steps.
Water-damaged material
Soaked carpet, drywall scraps and swollen particleboard are heavier than they look, and weight affects disposal costs.

Basement cleanout questions
Do I need to be home during the cleanout?
No. Many customers let us in and leave, or leave a door unlocked for us. We send photos before, during and after, so you can see the work without standing in the basement all morning.
Can you take moldy or water-damaged items?
Yes, we remove damp boxes, rugs, furniture and loose debris from a wet basement. We are not a mold remediation company, so if walls or framing are affected, we will point that out and show you what we saw so you can talk with the right specialist.
What can't you take from a basement?
Some items need special handling, such as full paint cans, pool chemicals, fuel and certain cleaning products. Tell us what you have when you call and we will let you know up front what we can take.
How soon can you come out?
Same-day and next-day service is available, depending on the schedule that week. Larger basements sometimes go better on a planned day so we can bring the right size crew.
Do you also clear garages and storage units?
We do. Plenty of customers pair a basement job with one of our garage cleanouts, and we also handle storage unit cleanouts if you are pulling things out of a rented space at the same time.
