Furniture Removal in Snellville
An old couch, a worn mattress, a dresser nobody wants. We lift it, carry it out and haul it away, padding walls and door frames as we go. You get photos of the room before and after, plus a clear note on what was donated and what went to disposal.
Furniture out of your home, without the heavy lifting
Furniture is awkward in ways other junk is not. A sleeper sofa hides a steel frame that can weigh more than the cushions suggest. A sectional won't turn the corner at the top of the stairs. A solid wood armoire needs two people and a plan. We bring the crew, the straps and the know-how, so you don't strain your back or gouge a door frame.
Before we touch anything, we photograph the pieces and the path out. Once the truck is loaded, we record the empty space too. You see exactly what left your home and how we left the room, which matters if you're clearing a parent's house or prepping a rental from a distance.
If you have more than furniture to clear, our junk removal and basement cleanouts pages cover whole-room jobs.
What you get with furniture removal
- Pickup from any room
- Second-floor bedrooms, finished basements, back patios, the bonus room above the garage. Show us the piece and we take it from there, no dragging it to the curb.
- Taking pieces apart
- We remove sofa legs, separate bed frames and unscrew dresser mirrors so everything fits through narrow doorways. Any hardware you'd like to keep is left with you.
- Padding for floors and walls
- Corners get padded, and moving blankets cover banisters and door jambs all along the way out.
- Setting pieces aside for donation
- Usable furniture is held for donation when a local charity will take it. Broken, stained or pest-damaged pieces go to proper disposal.
- Pictures throughout
- Shots from before, during and after give you a quick record of what we found, what we carried and the empty space.
- A quick sweep
- Under old furniture you'll find dust, stray screws and maybe a missing remote. We sweep each spot once the piece is gone.
Signs it's time to let that furniture go
Sagging or broken frames
A couch that dips in the middle or creaks when you sit usually has a cracked frame or worn springs. Repair often costs more than the piece is worth.
Mattresses past their prime
Lumps, body impressions and morning back pain are the usual tells. Mattresses and box springs are bulky and awkward, so most people are glad to hand them off.
Moisture or odor damage
In humid Georgia summers, pieces stored in a garage or damp basement can pick up mildew that never fully airs out. Particleboard swells and won't go back.
You're moving or downsizing
Some furniture won't fit the new place, and paying movers to haul it there only to discard it later is money spent twice.
New furniture is on the way
Many stores won't take the old set when they deliver. We can clear it beforehand so the delivery crew has a clean path in.
What the visit looks like
- 1
A quick phone call
Let us know which pieces you have and which rooms they're in. You'll get a phone quote, or a free on-site estimate if you'd like us to look first.
- 2
Checking the way out
When we get there, we go over the list with you, look at doorways and stairs, and record each piece where it stands. If items are added or dropped, we agree on the price before anything is lifted.
- 3
Carrying it out
We pad the path, break down what has to come apart and load the truck. You won't lift anything, and you don't have to stay in the room.
- 4
Tidy up and photos
We sweep where each piece stood and take the after photos. You see the empty room and get a note saying what was donated and what went to disposal.

What affects the price of furniture removal
Our pricing is upfront with no hidden fees. The number we agree on before we start is the number you pay. Most of the price comes down to how much truck space your furniture takes and how much work it is to get it there.
- Size and number of pieces
- A single recliner takes far less room than a full bedroom set or a wraparound sectional. Volume is the biggest driver.
- Stairs and tight access
- Carrying a dresser down two flights or through a narrow hallway takes more time and more hands than a ground-floor pickup.
- Disassembly
- Bunk beds, adjustable bed bases and modular shelving units take time to break down safely.
- Heavy or specialty items
- Sleeper sofas, solid hardwood pieces and marble-top tables weigh a lot more than they look. We'll ask about these on the phone so the quote is accurate.
Common furniture removal questions
Something not covered here? (404) 620-3010
Should I bring the furniture outside before you arrive?
There's no need. We collect it right where it is, from an upstairs bedroom to the far corner of the basement. It's actually simpler when it stays put, since we can pad the whole path out.
Does my furniture go to donation?
Clean pieces in good shape are held for donation when a local charity accepts them. Charities refuse items with stains, rips, pet damage or pests, and those go to disposal. Your photos show where each piece ended up.
Will you come for just one piece, like a mattress?
Yes. A lone mattress, sofa or dresser is a regular job for us. Describe it on the phone and we'll price that single item.
How quickly can you get here?
We offer same-day and next-day service, depending on that week's schedule. Share your timing when you call and we'll find an opening that works.
Can you haul appliances on the same trip?
Yes. Fridges, washers and dryers follow their own handling steps, covered on our appliance removal page, but they can go out in the same visit as your furniture.
